The Planning and Zoning Commission reviews certain development applications in a public hearing setting, which offers the public a chance to comment on large development projects. These projects include commercial buildings, property rezoning, subdivisions, re-subdivisions of lots, communication towers, permanent signage on buildings and planned unit developments. In addition, some applications also need to be reviewed by the Town Council at an additional public hearing.

The Planning and Zoning Commission regularly meets the first Wednesday of each month at 5:30 pm. at Town Hall, 275 Lake Dillon Dr, in the Council Chambers.

Planning and Zoning Commissioners are appointed to three (3) year terms. Three (3) of the Five (5) Commissioners must be residents of the Town of Dillon.

Position Available - Must be a Resident of Dillon- Deadline to apply is Monday, October 27, 2025. A brief interview with the Town Council may be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025.
