The Town of Dillon is proud to offer grant funding to local non-profit organizations through two yearly grant processes.

Non-profit grant application for in-kind services is now closed for the 2025 calendar year. The application will reopen on January 1, 2026 for the 2026 calendar year. 

The 2026 grant application for monetary donations is now open and closes on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at NOON.

Town of Dillon Cash Grants 

The 2026 grant application opened on June 13, 2025 and closes on August 13, 2025 at NOON. 

Any non-profit seeking support from the Town of Dillon must apply through the yearly county-wide grant program. Applications are available annually in June with an August deadline.

The Town Council will only consider requests from non-profit organizations that can demonstrate a benefit to the residents of the Town of Dillon. The Town Council will use the following criteria in determining funding for 2026.

  • Is the applicant located in Dillon?
  • Does the applicant’s request directly benefit Dillon and its community members?
  • Does the applicant’s request reach / benefit communities in Summit County?
  • Is the applicant’s request aligned with:
    • Dillon’s Vision/ Mission: Dillon is a vibrant community with a proud history and an exciting future that enhances its unique recreational, economic, educational, and environmental characteristics. The Town is dedicated to providing high quality services to its residents, businesses, and guests through responsive government and through enhancement of cultural and recreational activities in a pedestrian friendly environment
    • Town Council’s Public Policy goals?
      • Community – The Town of Dillon values proactive engagement of our residents, businesses, visitors and local/regional partners to promote a positive sense of community.
      • Revitalization – The Town of Dillon promotes community revitalization and supports sustainable development of a thriving and vital community.
      • Amenities – The Town of Dillon supports cultural, recreational and educational amenities and opportunities that enhance the Town’s unique qualities.
      • Stewardship of our Future – The Town of Dillon provides conscientious stewardship of Dillon’s resources, amenities and environment, now and into our future.
      • Endorsement – The Town of Dillon values promotion of Dillon as a welcoming and responsive place to live, work and have fun.
  • Is the program responsibly managed with a consistent revenue stream, providing sustainability?

 

Successful applicants will show evidence that they are stable, have a solid financial and management team, a strong balance sheet and programming plans that illustrates the grant will be sustained beyond the Town’s investment.

Grant decisions will be made during the regular November budget approval process.  All applicants will be notified of funding decisions in early December; awards are slated for January 2026. Due to potential budget constraints, funding may be limited or unavailable.  All funding decisions by the Council will be considered final.

Town of Dillon In-Kind Services - CLOSED UNTIL 1/1/2026

(Marina Park Pavilion, Town Park, Dillon Marina, Dillon Amphitheater)

CLOSED

All in-kind (free or discounted) services or products, including free/in-kind use of or partnership with the Dillon Amphitheater, Marina Park Pavilion, Town Park, Dillon Marina, etc., must be requested through the online Town of Dillon In-Kind Donation Application. This is the only opportunity annually to request in-kind services or donations from the Town of Dillon. 

Town of Dillon | In-Kind Donation Application - CLOSED

In-kind applications were accepted from January 3 to February 28, 2025. The deadline to submit an in-kind application was February 28, 2025 for the 2025 calendar year. The application is now closed. 

The Town Council will only consider requests from non-profit organizations that can demonstrate a benefit to the residents of the Town of Dillon. The Town Council will use the following CRITERIA in determining funding for 2025:

  • Is the applicant located in the Town of Dillon?
  • Does the applicant’s request directly benefit Dillon and its community members?
  • Does the applicant’s request benefit communities in Summit County?
  • Is the program responsibly managed with a consistent revenue stream, providing sustainability?
  • Is the applicant’s request aligned with Dillon’s Vision and one or more of Town Council’s Public Policy goals?
    • Community - The Town of Dillon values proactive engagement of our residents, businesses, visitors and local/ regional partners to promote a positive sense of community
    • Revitalization - The Town of Dillon promotes community revitalization and supports sustainable development of a thriving and vital community.
    • Amenities - The Town of Dillon supports cultural, recreational and educational amenities and opportunities that enhance the Town’s unique qualities.
    • Stewardship of our Future - The Town of Dillon provides conscientious stewardship of Dillon’s resources, amenities and environment, now and into our future.

  1. Applicants must be tax exempt under the provisions of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
  2. Requests of over $5,000 will not be considered.
  3. Individuals will not be considered for funding. Grants are only awarded to non-profit organizations.
  4. The Town of Dillon considers grant applications once per year. Requests received outside of the designated time will not be considered. These applications will be your sole source for funding requests and in-kind donations from the Town of Dillon.
  5. Presentations will not be part of this process.
  6. If you received funding in 2024, a report of grant monies expended in 2024 must be submitted prior to or with this application.
  7. Requests for programs/projects already completed will not be considered.
